THE WHITE PEACOCK RESTAURANT
The past of the building is going back to 1839, at this time was this treasure born in the heart of the downtown, under the name White Peacock Inn.
The famous cooks of the house has learnt to cook the food specialities of the reform age and made it known in the second part of the 19th century. The inn gave place for markets and competitions, here appeared many people. Ahter the wars the building got newer and newer owners, but at the time it was not an inn anymore,
it was a mansion till nowdays.
This partly in oblivion sank treasure was made to come to life again by our director, Gyula Madari, and not known opportunism, he began his work to give back the building its old light and fame. His aim is to renew the old fame of this building and if it is possible to make it bigger to be worthy to the heritage of the famous inhabitants

At the composition of the menu it was an important aspect that the recipes of the old ages should suit to the taste of nowdays, then in the last 150 years the Hungarian kitchen got many influences.
RESTAURANT OF JÁNOS ARANY (50 pax)
János Arany (famous hungarian poet) had lived in the house from 1864 till 1867, so our restaurant has the proud name of him. You can spend your time with authentical salvager in the feeling of the reform ages. We have a Traditional Hungarian Gipsy Band, who plays for you during the night. This restaurant is perfect for small groups or privat parties as well.
WINE-CELLAR RESTAURANT OF VÖRÖSMARTY (80 pax)
In our puritan style wine-cellar restaurant you can find original rustic archings and stonewalls, so you can have a really memorable time with us. Our cellar restaurant has differenete parts, so you can have parties here up to 120 persons.
PRIVAT CHAPEL AND COMBINATION (40 pax)
Our privat chapel is also in the cellar, so it is ideal for weddings and the following lunch and dinners. Of couse we can close up the parts of the cellar here as well, so we can have maximum 120 guests altogether.
CONFERENCE ROOM OF MIHÁLY TOMPA (25 pax)
This privat room is upstairs, and it is ideal for a privat family lunch or dinner and for a small group of friends, who want to enjoy their time together. But, this room is extremly perfect for a conference of companies to have some business lunch or dinner by us.
GARDEN OF SÁNDOR PETŐFI (120 pax)
In our garden you have the feeling of mediterran. It has a stage, so it is a good opportunity to have a nice taditional dinner with a folklore show. And it is also ideal for privat parties. During the summer, we making a Grill-terrace here as well.
WINE-CELLAR (8 pax)
It has 60 different kind of excellent wines from all around the hungarian vineyards.
